Bounce Rate
Definition
Bounce Rate is a web analytics metric that measures the percentage of visitors who enter a site and then leave ("bounce") rather than continuing to view other pages within the same site. A high bounce rate can indicate that the landing pages aren't relevant to visitors or that the user experience is poor.
While Google Search Console doesn't directly report bounce rate, it can be inferred from other metrics like click-through rate and time on page. High bounce rates for specific pages or queries in GSC's Performance report might indicate a mismatch between search intent and page content.
