Dwell Time
Definition
Dwell Time is the duration between when a user clicks on a search result and when they return to the search engine results page. It's considered a potential indicator of content quality and relevance. A longer dwell time suggests that the user found the content engaging or useful.
Google Search Console doesn't explicitly report dwell time, but it can be inferred from metrics like average time on page in conjunction with bounce rate. Pages with high click-through rates but low average position in GSC might indicate good dwell time, suggesting the content is meeting user needs effectively.
