Definition

Branded search occurs when users search for your brand name or branded terms directly related to your company. This could include the exact brand name, common misspellings, branded products, or branded campaigns. Branded searches often indicate a higher level of awareness and intent from the searcher.

In Google Search Console, you can identify branded searches by filtering your queries to include your brand name and its variations. Analyzing branded vs. non-branded search performance can provide insights into brand awareness and the effectiveness of your overall marketing efforts.
